Zbiór ilustracji dla dzieci autorstwa Chirtophera Niemanna Abstract City zainspirowany został systemem transportu nowojorskiego metro (MTA).

Prace jednego z moich ulubionych ilustratorów ukazywały się wcześniej na okładkach New Yorkera, Atlantic Monthly, The New York Timesa oraz American Illustration. Niemann był wielokrotnie nagradzany przez American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Art Directors Club i American Illustration. Jest autorem dwóch znakomitych książeczek dla dzieci "The Police Cloud" i nadchodzącej "The Pet Dragon".
